2 months & 3 Months Old

How time flies!  Jordan is now 3 months old.  We have been busy for the past 2 months going out to eat, shopping and cleaning the house.  Jordan has been sleeping better and on somewhat of a schedule.  During the day, he sleeps about 4 hours at a time  At night, it's anywhere from 2-4 hours.

As you can tell, Jordan eats very well.  Those chubby cheeks show it all.  I've been very lucky to produce enough milk for Jordan and freezing enough for later.  Everyday he is smiling and talking more.  We have conversations with him and his baby words sound like "Hi!"

For Jordan's 1st Halloween, he dressed as Superman.  Not sure if you remember but Xander gave him the name Superman when we found out we were pregnant.  Xander used the name Superman as a code name so we can talk about the new baby without anyone knowing.  Xander kept the secret and we thought it would be fun for Jordan to be Superman.  Xander and Jordan went trick or treating around the neighborhood with friends.  Jordan slept the entire time.

I had 4 months off of work for maternity leave and I'm starting back at work with Adobe on December 15th.  I bought Jordan this Adobe shirt before he was born and was excited for him to represent my company.  I'll be working from home a lot to get adjusted and pump milk in the comfort of my home.  I'll go to the SF and SJ office once or twice a week to see my work friends.  As you know, I'm quite a social person and looking forward to working with my friends again.

Jordan will be going to the same daycare in Alameda that Xander went to as a baby.  I know that he is in good hands which makes my transition back to work a little easier.  I'm sure he will meet lots of new friends.  Hopefully, he won't miss me too much.  I know I will miss him.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Jordan Chooey-Chea...1 Month Already!

Welcome to the world Jordan Chooey-Chea!  His due date was September 10 and he arrived on September 8, 2014 at 4:46am.  Weighing in at a healthy 8lbs, 1 ounce and 21 inches long.  He was born at Alta Bates Medical Center in Berkeley.

This month has been challenging yet amazing with 2 kids now.  I'm so lucky to have Wil doing everything to make sure I don't get stressed out.  Xander has been a great big brother and so helpful.  Xander likes to feed and read books to Jordan.  It's very sweet and melts our hearts.  We are so thankful to both of our parents for helping, bringing us food and overall support.  We also have been grateful for visits from family and friends.

Who does Jordan look like?  Well, me of course!  Lol!  Look at his button nose and cute smile. Jordan is a great sleeper in the daytime and majority of the day.  It's hit or miss during 2am-6am.  He likes to party in the middle of the night but this smile gets me through the night feedings.

I'm Queen of the Boys!  This is one of my favorite moments between the 3 Amigos.

So far, so great!  I've been enjoying maternity leave by mostly lunching with friends/family and shopping.  Can't keep me in the house, I need to be out and about!  Jordan is always sleeping and lets me eat and shop in silence.  I will be going back to work at Adobe in mid December so I'm enjoying every moment with my little man.  We are excited to see Jordan grow and change.  Also very excited to see Jordan and Xander become best friends!

7 Months & Babymoon

Just started my 3rd trimester and feeling like an old person.  My lower back has been hurting and slowing me down.  Takes me about 5 minutes to get up from the sofa.  On a positive note, I've been getting a prenatal massage every week...in heaven!

Speaking of heaven, we went to Oahu for our Babymoon.  We needed a vacation before the baby comes.  Plus, we went with my parents to help move in my brother Jon who will be living in Oahu.  Xander swam in the pool everyday and the swim lessons have paid off.   We had a great time, ate well and relaxed.

6 Months and Counting...

Another month has flown by and the 2nd trimester has been the best.  No more morning sickness and I feel great.  Honestly, I forget that I'm pregnant sometimes until I need to put on my shoes.  Or when ice cream drops on my belly...I don't know how it happens!  As you can see, my belly has grown and I've gained about 15lbs.  I've also invested in maternity clothes (jeans, dresses, shirts) this time around.  I love wearing the dresses!

Here's Baby #2's first photo at 5 months old.  Looks like he is waving with his arm but that's him kicking up his feet and waving with his toes.  The video we got was amazing.  Like Xander, Baby #2 is very active with strong kicks and punches.  Xander loves putting his hand on my belly to feel his little brother kick around.  Every movement that I feel, gives me relief that things are going well in there.

Xander and Wil have been super helpful putting the baby's room together. Yes, Xander has his own power drill.  And yes, I'm afraid he will get hurt but I remind myself that he is growing up and I put on a smile.  Xander and Wil put the crib together (Xander's old crib/toddler bed) and look how proud he is.  He makes me so happy!

Happy 35th Birthday to me!  Wil threw me the best birthday picnic, he loves me!  He's an excellent chef and the food was delicious.  I'm so lucky to be surrounded by my family and friends who spoil me.  Thank you!

We Are Having A Baby Boy!

We are happy to announce that we are having a baby boy!  I'm 5 months pregnant and feeling good.  I had morning/all day sickness in months 3 & 4 and it's like having a hangover without the cocktails.  Xander is so excited to be a big brother...aka Boss of the Baby.  We told Xander when we found out as the news was too exciting to keep from him.  Immediately, Xander kissed my belly 2 times.  It was so touching.  Xander decided to name the baby Superman so we can talk about the baby in public.  He did a great job keeping the secret. Wil has been busy cleaning, organizing and amazing as always.  We are all very excited!
